  1. Just found you because you were mentioned on Tiny House Ontario. It’s exciting to know that someone is doing “the tiny house thing” in my own province, not only Sebastapol, CA and Texas! I’ll enjoy following you and seeing how the winter goes! Cozy, I’m thinking!

  2. What did you use for your interior walls? I love the look! You did a fantastic job on your home!! Mid century modern is one if my favorite styles and it looks perfect in this space!!!!!

  3. I am intrigued by your loft ladder solution. It seems a great solution, but I am curious if you find the rungs “deep” enough as they are? I know those pipe nipples come in different lengths, so it could be adjusted for a bigfoot like me.

    • i do find it deep enough. i have size 10 women’s feet and it’s great. i used 2″ pipe for the depth but with the wall flange and the elbow it’s probably closer to 3.5 or 4″ out from the wall. but ya, you can get them off the shelf in many different lengths or have the pipe cut and threaded at whatever length you need. i wrapped mine in foam though because they are hard on bare feet.

  4. thanks! the interior walls are 1/4″ oak in dimensions of 16″. there are a few pieces of 1/4″ walnut in there for contrast. i especially love those pieces! i was going to do an art wall and started to hang stuff but took it down because the wood is pretty beautiful on its own.
